About Oversomnia
Oversomnia is a Yume Nikki fangame developed by Wamby in 2018, originally as a submission for Dream Diary Jam 2, featuring a young boy named Irving, a part of a "dream club" whose members share their dreams using different methods, where you take his role and explore the vastness of his dream world.
Scattered around the dream world as you explore it are Effects, which may give Irving abilities that may help you along the way, be it in navigating the dream world, getting past its obstacles, or even revealing some of its deepest secrets. Irving isn't alone in exploring his dreams, with numerous inhabitants to encounter, and even document in the bestiary.
Although the game is undergoing development, with more content to come, alongside many other changes, it is fully playable from beginning to end. Much like Yume Nikki and its other fangames, discovering what the dream world has in store, as well as its many secrets is where the fun and excitement is fully realized. Therefore, it is encouraged to have played most of the game before consulting this wiki, due to the presence of spoilers.
